Infomaniak pursues its quest for excellence

Published on July 25, 2014 by Team Infomaniak

For 20 years, Infomaniak has attached the utmost importance to the quality of the services and benefits it offers its clients. The company also pursues a socially- and ecologically- responsible development objective (environmental charter). Over recent decades, numerous procedures have been rolled out to attain these goals.

As such, Infomaniak decided to formalize its commitments and have them certified by the International Organization for Standardization which is currently reviewing the Company’s application for ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 50001 certifications.

Data security

The ISO 27001 standard specifies the requirements for setting up an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The ISMS is intended to reinforce security measures to ensure corporate and client information assets are protected over a given perimeter. The aim is to protect information from loss, theft, and alteration, and to protect information systems from intrusion so as to strengthen trust between stakeholders.

Sustainable management and energy savings

ISO 14001 defines a series of specific requirements for setting up an environmental management system in organizations. It is designed to help them manage and limit the impact of their activities on the environment and to ultimately illustrate the effectiveness of their management.

Finally, the ISO 50001 standard is aimed at improving organizations’ energy performance in order to help reduce the world’s energy demand. This standard helps develop methodical energy management so that, over the short term, energy savings can be made and costs reduced.

Through our articles, we share a vision of digital technology based on sovereignty, privacy, independence, and environmental responsibility. Our goal: to make the European cloud clearer, more sustainable, and more useful for everyone who wants to take back control of their data.
